Emergency Care
During our regular business hours and after hours, Tharp Animal Health Care Center offers emergency care. Whenever possible, please call ahead before bringing your pet in for emergency treatment so that the staff and veterinarians may better prepare for your pet’s arrival. When an emergency occurs after hours, you must call in advance.

Referrals
If the pet’s best interest is served by referral to a specialist for care, the primary clinician will make that recommendation. Communication between the referring veterinarian, the specialist and the client is given the utmost importance and care. Tharp Animal Health Care Center maintains collaborative relationships with the Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center, MedVet Medical & Cancer Center and Capital Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Columbus, Ohio for Pets.
